Tbh, I had seen ~20 P1s/P2s being discussed within a Pod TD but only a few had got the promotions. I am not a huge fan of the TD process as it tends to be overly opaque and may seem unfair at times, but always think from a higher perspective. Imagine you are the founder of a company - does it make sense to promote everyone within a year, including average or poor performers? If so, the top performers would not be satisfied and would start to think “why am I doing so much?”, “why am I sacrificing more”, etc. The ”1+2” was always intended to be a guideline and not an entitlement. ACN is still a business entity, and not some form of charity/social enterprise.
In a good year, most resources with MAL would be promoted even some without being tagged to P1/P2 (seen this happening before). In an average year, all P1s and most P2s would get promoted. In a bad year, slots are really limited so it may even come down to the type of “Plus Ones”, unfortunately. Just imagine a case of an analyst with 3 PL (on top of his/her own PL) vouching for him/her promotion due to town halls, BDs, etc.
Generally, these 3 key factors play the largest influence:
1. Hard Metrics (eg CAI, Chargeability, MAL)
2. Pod Budget (ie certain Pods have more slots due to Pod performance)
3. Network (ie people within/outside your pod/project know who you are)
Remember it’s not just L11/L10 - even promotions were muted from L9 onwards.

Sounds like u’re the M3 person which I assume M3 is very high level in Accenture
Chanced upon this person profile listed on Page 715 on this forum page -> ibb.co/vhm5vTt
Had some commotion about fast track promotion especially in a bad year 2022/2023. Can help to explain why this lady (mentioned in the above pages with no technical skills) get fast track promotion from CL11 to CL 9? Accenture biased?

GO LIVE > Roll off everyone to save their project budget
With so many people leaving and rolling off, the remaining people will have to do more....

Not sure IF u're the same M3 person, I'm guessing you're. Also not sure what rank is M3 but I suppose it's a very high rank in ACN
Chanced upon this profile (s://ibb.co/vhm5vTt) mentioned on page 715 of this forum with much commotion about fast track promotion of this person (I suppose it's a lady) on-going till page 725. Please enlighten how she got fast track promotion from CL11 to CL9 given that 2022/2023 was actually a bad financial year??

Three tips:
1. Write out scripts and practise them on your own (eg mirrors) or your peers
2. Try not to just read off what is on the slide - this sounds counterintuitive but engage them as if you are a lecturer. Reading off the slide makes you reliant and fixated on the screen rather than the audience. The slide has much details but generally people only need the gist of what you are saying, the rest (eg stats, graphs, details) are just your due diligence
3. Watch videos of how extremely good presentations (eg TED talks, earning calls, product launches by CEOs). Subconsciously you will start to present better each time.

Thank you for sharing, abit more hopeful to hear that you’ve been through it and have overcome it

Asked to roll off by project and resource asking to roll off are two separate things. Have known people on the project and even in other projects who’ve done well but for many reasons such as no full chargeability, asked to do more and more although they were doing a lot, being unappreciated, learning and interests not met on the project and have found another better role of project ask to roll off or roll off when their roll off date arrive (didn’t accept extension).
