You just go through motion everyday. Siam work and keng as much as you can? Since you know that you won’t be promoted in the coming cycle anyway. I hate myself for having such work attitude / ethics but seems like this is the only way to preserve my mental sanity

It depends on your go live. Mostly 48-96 hrs is normal. General rule of thumb, 1 day before go live and 1-3 days after go live

Since the folks here speak like experts, shouldn’t be an issue. Otherwise, maybe they’re not cut for consulting business. Don’t the business of consulting is about b*t*h around their projects.

Big 4 aren’t real consulting, their consulting is focused a lot more on documentation and advisory style. I would say leave for big 3 or those small strategy firms or consulting boutiques, they are more prestigious and pay better. This is more for those S&C folks who are doing consulting work here in Accenture. From Accenture jump to mbb (there are successful jumps), if can’t either do a MBA or go to boutiques (OW etc), never jump to big 4 (Kpmg, PwC etc) for consuming work cos you’ll regret getting a pay cut and doing non “consulting” work there.
