Btw, after this networking event will be the Assessment Center or they are the same? Thought Assessment Center is a whole day event but the networking is only 2 hours.

you had your networking yesterday? hows it like? mind sharing the details of the event?

apparently, I believe the networking event is independent of the entire recruitment process. You should receive another call from HR for your assessment center dates.

Nope she didn't invite me to the assessment centre. She just informed me that the assessment centre will be in mid september should I make it to the next round. Funny thing is two weeks ago I got invited to an assessment centre in UK even though I've been back in Singapore for a few years.

When you're talking about an AC in UK are you sure ? Because i am in UK and i have been invited 2 weeks ago to a career talk + networking event which are not an assessment centre.

Moreover OCBC HR staff told me that all AC are held in Singapore.

Can you please confirm your statement ?

She asked if I was free to attend the assessment centre in UK. I said no cos I'm working and based in Singapore now, so she told me to reply to the email.

why would anyone in London bother to apply to a job in Singapore when there should be plenty of jobs available over in London?
