Default Not recommended

To those want to join, advise is not recommended if one is thinking will learn alot of things as most of the time is administrative stuff like documentation and KPI works, and other duties assigned. What team you get really depends also if its busy, decent, or on fire.

The only thing what makes ppl stay is the bonus, others is average or so-so only, overall is below average after one receive the letter of offer. You have to think really hard if one wants better career progression or a better assigned work tied to your job role. I feel there is a better place and learning out there than here.

The new CEO is great. Can see she is making positive changes at the top but unfortunately the management in the dept not as good as her.

Take for example infra, there is a director Yap, many ppl do not like him as he lacks sensitivity dealing with people
What positive changes did she bring about? Other than the salary market adjustment

Not sure about the rest, in my opinion really depends on the situation of yours. In general, i feel and dont think its suitable for people thinking one will get promoted under 5 years or so if you are looking for that kind of pathway. One have to really hope you dont get a bad team so it doesnt disappoint you. If there are other foffers for you, advisable to give others a shot at it.

best to avoid ihis unless you are desperate.

-Very old style/conservative management
-a lot of meetings where everyone needs to attend for no good reason
-very few teams are good, most are bad.
-A lot of paper work and processes to do simple things
-tech stack is very outdated

What this means to any applicant is :

Low growth potential because you either spend your time doing paperwork, getting approvals, OR, doing tech work that is old.

If you want a stable job with no growth, and able to endure processes the go ahead.
