Went for an interview with a stat board last week. Only one interrview and i would say it is ok. At the end of the interview, HR asked how my job search is going and to give them 1 to 2 weeks for them to revert.

With more than 10yrs of exp in ps. Move on to another starboard, but was offered contract despite movement policy. So yes.. got instance

Usually if they want you, they would give a verbal offer in the next 2 days before they start their long internal clearance process.

Anyway, since HR already told you 1-2weeks should probably wait and see at the end of next week. I’m now in a similar position as you, interviewed last week and was told by the panel to wait 1-2 weeks. I don’t have a good feeling cause in my previous govt positions, those that offered me always called the next day. And if its a rejection, its 2weeks after interview.

Maybe they changed the way they work? Hopefully both of us gets the job!!

The HR told me they still in the midst of interviewing then asked how my job search going before telling me 1 to 2 weeks for the updates.


Hopefully we get the jobs! The market now very slow

assuming your security clearance turn out ok?

Yeah from the past offers i was offered the position when they gave verbal offer the next day after interview.


Now i’m applying for other positions and waiting again. But idk if its bad news if im told to wait 1-2 weeks…

Min need a while due to security clearance.

I did HR at one of the min. Security clearance need at least 1 month, if you need higher clearance, you need even longer.
