For some reason folks in cs always obsessed with asking about your relationship status. Single will tell you get married have kids. Or attached tell you to have kids. Now what year already. Hopefully it's the gen gap and they dunno what topics to talk to younger people about besides child rearing and of course the extreme case complaining about "strawberry"

Signs
1. Been waiting for 3 weeks for LOA
2. Informed that the Terms of the offer changed (to something worst off without my agreement)
3. Start date was supposed to be end March (as per last conversation 3 weeks ago). We are getting nearer to start date but there is no urgency from hr to sign the offer or anything else.

Seems like u have a legit point to suspect the potential U-turn signs

I suppose u haven't throw the letter to your current side right?

the last thing any employee wan is throw letter liao then the U-turn happen
that one is one of the big spanner that will throw things off course.

Haven’t throw but my manager and colleagues already knew / assume I am leaving. Hr asked specifically for my manager for character referee. So if they really u turn, even tho I keep my job but my fate also GG. people will know I’m staying there cos the other company u turn on me.
