This is the way the job market works dear; you just have to find a company that accepts you.

Same as dating. If you get rejected, you can only move on and try to find the next person suitable for you.

No point thinking about why you were rejected because it could be for almost any reason and the person who rejected you is not obliged to tell you why he/she rejected you.

i currently go by default assumption is that there's no guarantee of headcount to convert me from temp to perm

so i will still be applying for full time positions

might sound self-fish but sorry, when it comes to household bread & butter issue, money plays a big say

and having being thrgh such work arrangement in previous coy (start out as temp with them then they take over as full time contract but on fixed term with No PB etc), i don't want to put myself thrgh this again

temp staff, in terms of progression, benefits and what knots, is and will still lose out on what the perm /full time staff get

and i can't simply ignore tt glaring fact tbh

so have to be self-center in that aspect and not expect any miracle to happen for now

hi any kind souls can advise if a job posting for statboard is diploma or degree positions?

the requirement did not state any education qualifications but it has a "assistant" (no manager) in the title, does that means it is a diploma position?

i have a degree and was wondering if it is a diploma position, what will they peg the salary based on? have gone through the interview, and my offer is currently under processing.

Did ur RO tell you there will be a chance for perm conversion after one year? Thatís strange though... I thought the normal practice is permanent position after 1st year, at least thatís what happened to my friend...

Kinda sucks to miss out on 4 years bonus... Think you should actively look out for other opportunities in other CS while on your 2 year contract... all the best
