Is there a reason why you wish to switch to teaching?

Confirm more than 5k one. You go apply a few and see see la. Go for some interviews also just to feel the market a bit. If you later decide you don't want to convert, don't have to accept the offer. But good to know what is out there.

When’s the best time to apply to CS jobs without being too disruptive to the school? Cause like you can’t really predict their hiring time frame but also don’t wanna be leaving school during exam season in September as well lol.
Also will they contact your school to ask for character referral? Sometimes you don’t want to tell your bosses until you actually get an offer

Was your contract teaching in 2017? Or before that?
