It is an actual promotable grade where you receive PI when promoted. So why would the salary range not be recognised?

Yes, I'm MX11A. Promotion letter stated the grade and salary range which is different from MX11

All ministries would have. My AM was recently promoted to mx11a so I know it does exist.

Because your sources are now serving outdated information. MX11a is relatively new.

Is MX scheme really better than GEO? EOs seem to promote faster than MX, at least in the schools/MOE setting. Just speculating, but doesn't it seem that MX officers in schools face an even worse progression bottleneck compared to EOs?
