This individual is already capable enough to embark on a different career with 20% increment. Better than taking up KPship. Anyone here would probably make the same choice too.

What are the primary difference between those in teaching and those on leadership track? Is it teaching track can siam all the initiatives, projects etc but focus more on teaching, pedagogy and teaching focused projects?
How’s the career progression like for teaching track?

The problems with a teacher's working life is not a problem that can be 100% solved by throwing money at it.
Sure, nobody will reject a salary increase. We accept more money with open arms. But working conditions are the bigger issue here.

That is if you wish to leave the service. There are people who genuinely like to teach. The advice was given based on career progression within the teaching profession. The OP is not asking for advice to go elsewhere, but whether or not to remain as a HOT or to take up the appointment.

Don’t just think about issues from your own point of view.
Technically, she was once head of state of the land you are on right now.

People keep talking about service, service, service.. what service have they ever performed other than their extravagant lives being a needless drain on the UK's resources?
Let's not even mention Operation Legacy.
