Of course. Why would senior spoon feed the juniors? You think you still in school ar? Senior is not paid to school you. This applies to all fields. Learn yourself or quit. Go drive grab instead.

Your English proficiency seems to be in need of improvement. I suggest dedicating some time to enhance your language skills for more effective communication.

While seniors are not obligated to spoon-feed juniors, fostering a culture of support and knowledge sharing can lead to a more collaborative work environment. It's about helping each other and succeed as a team, which ultimately benefits everyone.

Maybe you should learn to use ChatGPT to punctuate your sentences and use beautiful synonyms like those other commenters.
That said, this is the exact reasons we don't spend that much time handholding the associates. They have zero input in our appraisals while clients, managers, and partners do. But I have a feeling the OP you replied to doesn't care about the real reason and as a new joiner, just wanted to vent about their senior.

I'm hoping for a formal break instead of MC because I previously had to take 1 week MC due to a bad flu but I still had to work like normal due to multiple deadlines.

I literally collapsed due to overwork yet they still rejected my request for 2 weeks break, so I tendered but they still refuse to let me utilize my leave. Personally, I think at most they'd give you is some cajoling to convince you to stay while "taking care of yourself more". It certainly seems effective because my teammate retracted her resignation after their cajoling session. Thank 猪队友s like that for spoiling market.

When I tendered while citing as health reason, they have the cheeks to tell me that their health is worst than mine and they are currently on medication and can continue working. And that’s where I nope my way out.

Same. Though in my case, I was an idiot and was too honest because that manager was a mental health champion public figure so I thought, it can't be that bad, they should have some empathy... Who knew they'd say that they had it too but they could tough it out and cured it (it's not something curable once you develop it). I don't think I've ever died so much on the inside before.
Everything is a lip service. No one cares about you personally. Maybe your peer that you aren't working directly with might care, but everyone else just cares about whether they'd have more work or not from you leaving. If being an gaslighting or awful bastard means they can have less workload, they'd do it.
