Any Big4 audit partners here ?
I just got my PA licence from ACRA.
I don't have any clients now.
Any high risk audit portfolio, you guys need me to sign off?
Can hire me as signing partners, I will sign the audit report.

Are there any waves of resignation these days considering there's so many layoffs outside?

to be an accountant at BB? sure. they're dying for talent who have done FS audit because there's just so few of them. don't expect short working hours though.
front office/AM? the question will be why the **** you suck enough to not get into one directly for your first job compared to everyone else who has 2-3 internship in one already so how is that a high flyer?
i've only heard of fast track for audit but in the off chance, people might be more sympathetic if it's the strategy or M&A arm in big 4 but you're clearly not a high flyer if you think working 4.5k salary for 9-2am is a good idea when others are getting paid 10k+ for the same hours or less (yes, some teams actually have shorter hours than B4 bc the projects have higher margins so there's no need to take on so many rubbish).
anyway a job that promotes a fresh student after working 6 months clearly has no substance and has to suck enough to be that desperate to offer such a thing. and clearly has no quality control.

stop parading your ignorance. find me one job listing that hires fresh grad now for 10k. Aside from super god tier jobs like Citadel and IB BB, its not even offered in tech anymore. Get in touch with the market conditions.
But i absolutely agree, big4 is dog ****. accept it is and dont join thinking you got some good job. at the very least its better than all the smes and gives you a chance of leaving to somewhere better

It’s a fact that the firms are filled with jhk/jhb and many of them can’t even string proper English sentence together. It is also a fact that many of them are beh kans, some are even worse than sec sch kids taking poa. Unless u have long left the industry/not even from big4s, pls take some time to go back office and open ur eyes wide to see the reality. The industry is no longer filled with accounting graduates with AAA/B. Now even the A1s are filled with jhk/jhb.

Do firms allow unpaid leave or career breaks especially considering that it is still audit peak? Having panic attacks and breakdowns over the work, but I'm worried about having a possibly extended resume gap since I am already having issues getting any interview. I still have plenty of annual leave so I'm fine with using them all up first but I really need a break from work. I'm hoping for a formal break instead of MC because I previously had to take 1 week MC due to a bad flu but I still had to work like normal due to multiple deadlines.

I don't know what you are trying to say here. If jhk/ jhb can get a job despite their poor language skills then what does it say about you or Singaporeans? If one particular organisation does that then fine, its an outlier. But if the accounting industry in general is doing that then the problem is you, my friend. Are you pricing yourself out of the market or are you valuing the wrong skillset? For e.g. maybe excellent english skill isn't a top consideration for accouting jobs. Just the same as great creativity skills is not pivotal in a factory worker job or a masters degree is rarely the consideration for a sales based job like real estate agents. Besides companies usually have to pay more for foreigners due to S-Pass or EP requirements
