I think it was because I made an error in my resume and its probably a turn off quite immediately for him and hence the spin. And he's also being nice in which suggesting what I should remove in my resume mainly the objective statement paragraph which is unnecessary since its just a bunch of bombastic words

Are you outearning me? You're probably one of those guys who couldn't get in and is stuck at his/her job with low pay progression. I am a chartered accountant (one of the most prestigious certifications), my name is on the partner's list (more prestigious than deans list) and I have a team of hardworking A1s to Managers who love working overtime for me as they love the corporate culture. We are not the same.
