Hi everyone, I am fresh grad wondering which pathway should I take
1) FLDP at FMCG firm
2) Big 4 audit

I understand that 1) has a higher starting pay of close to 5k but audit has starting pay of 3k+ without bonus but audit has guaranteed promotion and progression. Wondering which is the best option

I’m not from yellow.

In my firm, they send out an email to the whole firm to introduce newly promoted partners.

There has never been a fixed number of years to get promoted to partners. Whether you can promote fast will depend on your capability but more of luck ie whether the senior partners like you, larger number of partners retiring and whether you are in the sector that is expanding.

Strictly speaking, becoming a Partner isn't a promotion but an invitation to join the partnership.

Just because you work in a company for 30 years, the boss isn't obligated to make you a co-owner of the company. (Unless you marry his daughter, or have something to bring to the business like a new major client)
