With your experience the skill sets should be a given and it can be picked up. Those questions are valid and really relevant. The situation is really dire and you will face with the exact scenarios mentioned.

You must have shown that you are not receptive to these scenarios which is why you are not selected. Big 4 interviews are one of the easiest. They are literally begging you to join.

Not when you want to challenge them and make a change. Are those interview qns easy? Yes. But will your answer to make them happy align to your goals?

Lol i am not in Big 4 now and earning more than your SM, especially you, with way more work life balance.

I am just surprised the quality of the staff deteriorated so much within a few years.

Obviously you are not that interviewee. Change simi when you havent even join the firm.

Of cos I am. Now they are trying hard to implement changes, retain "talents" and outsource to devloping country for those repetitvie work. More for strategy purpose and keeping competitive edge. Of cos the conversation is about what changes can be made. OT, high turn over is common in audit. What are you talking about.. salary and wbl ? Way off topic bro/sis..
