Tip is to experience peak once you come in.. If you are unlucky, you may be booked 2 jobs concurrently, sometimes if you are too too unlucky, your seniors may be by then leaving and you are gonna handle it alone depends on the size of the client. Hours wise, hope you are aware of it if not you are not gonna survive, let alone to partner track. All the best!

Attrition rate is very high, which means associate level has to handle more work > more hours spent to OT. Don’t think about partner track to early. Focus on handling the work first before moving on to senior level. The journey is NOT easy to be honest, especially with long working hours at the start, and no worklife balance

feeling “delighted”.. don’t say this too early.. you should think about enjoying your last few days of holidays first before horror begins seriously.

Thanks for the response guys! Just curious, how do one actually tell whether the senior/manager is on partner track? Get in good books in front of the partners? Ability to bring in clients?

There is no formal “partner track” in Singapore as far as I know.
If you mean the informal process of identifying peoples for partner admission, that doesn’t start until you clock several years as Senior Manager.

Are the long working hours mandatory if we don’t plan to make partner?
And how long exactly is long? 10 to 12?

Heard that blue has recently adjusted salaries.
Does anyone have the adjusted pay-scale for blue - both advisory and audit?
