is it on top of the existing raise in pay for example S1-S2? so s2 should be 5.6? (4.7x1.2)

dont think so. they said 20% increase, but didnt say 20% of what.
They could be messing with the stats, where ur s2 will get 4.1 (s1) * 1.2 = 4.9.

Working in a big 4 firm one cn expect steady increment and a well secured paying job with many interesting assignment. Hard to complain about advancement especially when one can expect to reach M1 by age of 29. No worries sure can try bto in a popular location or even buy a 2/2 private condo together with your spouse. Don't be distracted by people claiming your career is behind the curve or long working hours. Once you hit 35, you will reach SM level with pay of 5-figure from here can upgrade to a bigger and better location property with a stable career without having to worry about being replaced. 100% can retire at 55 with a housing loan completely paid and huge cash and cpf balance when you reach the rank of director. Imagine if you hit the partner level, you can sing all the way to districts9/10/11. Many are just simply jealous! The less people who manage to stay long, the higher is your chance of making it big in big4. Many here may try to eliminate the competition cause they are aiming for the above mentioned progression.

I don’t trust percentages…
GST increase from 7% to 9%
Is it 2% increase or 28.57% increase?

If you read straits time carefully, they mentioned ENTRY-LEVEL position, not senior level position. So means your A1/A2 or G1/G2 gonna get that.
