What kind of manager will you be?

You can complain about them, but so far the AMs I met who became managers all became the thing they sworn to change.
Not fair comparison imo. Your perspective changes after promotion.

If you are home-buyer, you want property prices to drop. After you bought your property, you can't wait for prices to soar.

I'm just doing my 10 hours during this peak and nothing more. Whether I'm fast or slow I don't give a **** anymore. Not like our insurance covers mental health or specialist visits.
4 of my seniors got PIP this year even though their work seems fine. Apparently overhired, not sure if just an KP thing or same across all firms

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Now 2024, means your local fresh graduates hires, if any, is likely going to be born 1999 or 2000.

Sometimes AMs are made manager-in-charge and there's no other managers on the job. They can sign off on files like a manager too.

I hope all the other seniors and managers resign so that only associates like these are left at the firm. Then you can be AIC
