Local uni kids can get away from no internships throughout their 4 years of education cause most employers prefer big 3 local unis. This is a harsh truth.

It is extremely hard for the last 3 local unis to even enter MNC without internship experience. This is why SIT and SUSS are implementing compulsory for their students as part of their curriculum.

SIM kids naturally are at a disadvantage in getting internships in MNCs, so those who can make it, are definitely the outliers in the cohort. Look at their GES (i know local recent GES was inflated lol), the FULL-TIME employment rates really cmi lol.

TS better buck up, u can start by doing internships as a graduate or further your studies.

Wow let's see...

TS, retard from SIM
- Got esports experience, play lots of games last time
- 30 years old, never work a day in his life before, no internship, no personal projects
- studying cyber-security, high GPA because SIM classes are online and recycled test papers.

VS

A typical local uni fresh grad
- 1 to 2 internship experience from large tech companies
- can most likely do leetcode easy - medium questions ( typical internship questions )
- strong foundation in CS and it's subfield ( AI / Machine learning / front-end etc )
- Exams / assignments are all vetted with plagiarism checkers and strict punishments
- Average age: 23-26

yeah unless TS is a hot xmm willing to suck company CEO's dick everyday, 0 chance.
