That would depend you are currently at which PAX level. If you are at PAX 5 and 6, yes possible. However, chances are slim. Reason being if they have the intention to promote you, they will try to give you a good appraisal, perhaps a B, so that it makes it a strong case.

I got promo from 6 to 5 and received grade A for appraisal. But my increment is less than $300. I must admit that I am very disapointed. Anyone in the same shoe as me?

Likely it is becos that you are near Pax 6 ceiling b4 your promotion. Can share whether u r near pax 6 ceiling?

Was very near the ceiling before the recent salary review. The review then pushed me to the ceiling. All in all, the review plus promo cum merit increment result in increment of $460 in my case. Isn't that too little?

can share what all did you do during the year to get A grade?
Also, what were your grades the previous few years?
