First year linguistics major looking to enter finance, preferably a trading or investments role. Any advice? Understood that I gotta leverage on the soft skills of my major and self learn finance concepts.

Maybe if your degree is from OxBridge... If local uni linguistics... Can just give up on that idea now...

try to land diversity hire roles that are "reserved" for non-finance background grads

no need be extremely pretty, just have to wear short skirt to work and put in some effort with boss

It's true, I don't wear any panties and my pheromones are overflowing, a sniff by standing close to me made my superior more forgiving when I made mistakes and I got a decent quarterly review.

It's true, I did the same with extra "OT" in my boss office, got a promotion the next month.
