Hi guys, got offered an IB internship but they are paying 1.3k per month of work with no OT so is it worth going for it? gotta take an loa for it.

Some dogshit boutiques are paying 400-600 with IB hours. If youre in the industry youll know. Absolutely disgusting

Which IB has no OT. And loa means it is a 6 months internship? The expectation of intern is a 6month internship would likely be the same as what they will expect of an analyst, so you would be implicitly expected to do whatever is required.

If you do not have an IB internship or failed to convert, this could be your ticket to it? Do what you have to do to get what you want even though the length of internship + allowance is not great.

Hi, does anyone know what is the expected salary of a Structured Finance analyst (ABS) for MM international banks such as BNP, SC, ING etc?

Got invited to a modeling test at Navis. Any idea what to expect? How is the comp, WLB and reputation?

Any thoughts about joning MAS?

mas does not belong to high finance. Unless you’re on their scholar track, the standard of grads are lower than Temasek/GIC. If you’re studying econs it’s a decent place

MAS is like govt job that pays peanuts compared to proper high finance roles. In general private comp >>>>> public unless you become PM of course

Also I have grad with FCH so may I ask in what other aspects does an MAS grad lose to one from Temasek/GIC
