I do have a big LJ.
If you are drawing 5k on the dot in GS ops after two years, just go jump.

Are you stupid? Which part of my OP did I mention that I wasn’t working? Are you even in the industry?
Most BB ops pay >4K with GS being the pay master at 4.6k starting. After 2 years (the programme) with 2 years of increment + promotion to associate, most reach >5.5k. Get the fk out.

Hi! Usually how long does it take for an associate to become VP for BB Tech?

Not talking about starting salaries post graduate programmes, you fktard. If you grow your salary by 3-5% each year for 3 years as Assoc (to reach 5 years exp), you'd be at 6-6.2k. An AVP at a local bank FO is at 7.5k. It's more than 1-fking-k difference pm ffs. Even after 5 years of experience at GS in ops, there's a 'Senior Associate' position for people whom they are not ready to promote to VP. Even if you get promoted to VP then, is ur pay seriously going to up by 50% from 6k to 9k for ops???????? For local bank FO VP, your pay would be 10-11k after 2 years as AVP. Not to mention your bonus is typically more than 4 months in FO role. Seriously, just go fk yourself.
