My side and department is is heavily technical base. But no need engineering skill and only leadership skills and manager skills is important for promotions leh
To the point every one just siam the work cause able to delegate work is leadership. Like ST politics

Are you new hire M2? I know of a M2 who has worked for 15 years taking 5.3k but there is a fresh grad E5 this year taking 4.8k, same department
