Understand many of the astar employees are on renewal contracts. Are there instances where the contract are not renew? How common is it?

public service so cannot judge by title.. titles here are very inflated for roles snd responsibilities (bit like MTI)
unless you're a researcher, it's just admin work and research adnin at that.. not gonna have transfer to real world or even within public sector

Quite common to see contracts not being renewed.
Sometimes, it is due to funds running out.
Or the employee not good enough for a permanent job.

The mx grades are standardized for the Civil Service.
Stat boards have their own grades.
However, they tend to align with the Civil Service grades.

Does fixed-term contract (renewable) psotion uses the same grade scheme as permanent position?
