Many a times, the engineers don’t even know what the specs are saying. They will just play spot the difference and hammer the contractor

See your degree classification + scholar or not scholar + degree come from where.

But you ask also no use. They will just offer and tell you no room for negotiation.

If you are fresh grad, it’s 3.8-4.2k for lower classification
But if you have second upper and above should be 4.5k.

If you are rail sector, usually chao chao 16months package

Hi everyone, I have 3+ years exp. 1st class hons, local uni. Currently in another stat board with 90k/annum (including additional 2% to CPF). Applying for LTA (non-engineering role). May I know if i can ask for 100k/annum? Also, worried I may be stuck in LTA in future. Does anyone know if it's easy to get out in future for non-engineering roles? Will appreciate some advice. Thank you!

Don't think it's possible. There's no room for negotiation with a fixed method to calculate their package for u.

Thanks for this info. So if from private be it earning 5k or 10k when applying for a role, if formula says offer 7k means die die must be 7k?
