Which role is hardest?

If a fresh university degree graduate joins MAS as Grade 13 employee, what is the Grade level for a fresh polytechnic diploma graduate in MAS?

I think it's probably Grade 4-6 somewhere there.
Grade 13 is Trainee Officer/Associate, 0-3 years of experience.
Grade 11-12 is Assistant Director, 3-6 years of experience. Grade 11 and above can be Team Lead already.
Grade 9-10 is Deputy Director.
Grade 8 is Deputy Director who are also Division Head.
Grade 7 should be Director, who may be Division Head or Department Head.

No, just join after you have become a uni grad

Does MAS hire a mid-careerist with uniformed services background (e.g. SAF, security etc)? If so, what are the departments that hire candidates with such background?

they take anyone

either times are bad, or enforcement don't really need a degree to do his job as much as those from the policy group due to the former ops nature
