heard the IT roles there are mainly focusing on non-technical stuffs such as managing projects and vendors as well as doing admin works.
Many came in who hope to do some technical role left within a year...

In fact those doing ICT job gets $400 monthly allowance, on top of the basic salary, whatever the degree or degree class. But need to pass their digital test and interview.

allowance is a now quite an ineffective incentive given that a lot of company are moving towards higher base

not forgetting in dsta is doing project management related to defence only and skillsets are not transferable to outside market if you choose to move on later.

DSTA hires people to stay till retirement, many staff not able to find better paying role outside with their niche experience and relatively high pay
