That is a good pay for a 35 year old. I am only making 6k/month with average 3 months bonus

hi all, need some career advice. Have been working in civil service since grad (for around 6 years), have worked for two ministries (one economic, one social) thus far. Both doing policy. However, work life balance is really very bad - have been working late nights and weekends (even in the social ministry!).
Should I move to a stat board for better work life balance? Will my career progression be affected? So far, I see stat board officers knock off on time, rarely work late. However, not too sure what their progression are like and whether my experience is applicable to most stat boards.
some other points:
as i am just a farmer, dont think i have much chance of making PSLP.
skillsets doesn't seem too applicable for private sectors too
current bosses are okay - they also work late nights/weekends
colleagues are generally nice

not all stat boards have work-life balance. depends on which one you applied to. usually all the economic ones require you to OT often.

Hi
I graduated with a external degree - 2nd Lower Hons in 2010 and have been working in a hospital in a non executive post in customer service . My current pay is only $2900.
I just finished my Masters of Science from NTU and wish to move to a civil service post either in stat board or ministry. I think I am underpaid in my current job. What salary range am I likely to receive?
