U got degree n masters, go take the courage n move on for a job with what u have studied for. Is not that u don't hv working experience, but make ur skills transferable to the job interests u. Salary wise, maybe 3.8k - 4.5k ? but u gotta to justify why u worth 3.8k or more.

For me, my last drawn was 2.9k as a admin executive, but I managed to found an business analyst role that offers me 4.5k coz I can justify with my relevant experiences n my degree after I graduated

All the best wishes to u!

Should I move to a stat board for better work life balance? Will my career progression be affected? So far, I see stat board officers knock off on time, rarely work late. However, not too sure what their progression are like and whether my experience is applicable to most stat boards.

some other points:
as i am just a farmer, dont think i have much chance of making PSLP.
skillsets doesn't seem too applicable for private sectors too
current bosses are okay - they also work late nights/weekends
colleagues are generally nice
I'm in almost the same situation as u, am doing the late night OT thing too, and it is really draining. Personally i have been doing this for 7 years and think it's time to move on to a slower environment - progression seems somewhat stuck at MX11A too.

This is normal lah. Not all degree farmers can reach MX10 and even those who reach usually get it quite late like late 40s or early 50s unless your CEP is hipo.
