Compare properly leh. The good earners can earn well but this is still the minority. Majority are only slightly better than you but without the job security of the civil service.

How likely is it for a farmer to make MX-9?
And at what age does that normally happen?

ang ka more aggressively. u can make it one day at about 35-40.

Hey i would like to ask, would one's SAF grading affect anything when applying for a job in cs in the future?

35-40 a bit challenging. Early 40s higher chance. Any farmer hits MX9 before 40 is super high flyer leow.

can apply to be in AO scheme early.. eg just after grad.. they will try u out and if u can make it.. u may be hitting mx9 in your 30s!

Today my agency announced promotion. See a not-so-competent colleague promoted while those around helping him due to his incompetency aren't promoted. Wonder if the system is really fair.

However, the not-so-competent fellow did get all the "scolding" from boss for the screw-up.
