2010- 14%
2011- 9%
2012-17%
2013-10%

My stat board gives 3.5% only.
Ur increase is equivalent to changing jobs.

PRECISELY! I know there was a salary adjustment across many ministries and stat board in 2012 but they cannot increase that much so fast....

2012 was a good year. If the stat board followed their parent Ministry, then they would also adopt the adjustment of 10% for MX12/11 equivalent. Plus the usual merit increment of about 5% for C performer... it's what I got last year

Question Applying to civil service

Hi....can anyone advise if it was the norm to indicate your current annual salary that is inclusive of the 13th mth & bonuses when applying for a civil service job? Have never applied for one before & was a bit confounded=). Wary of pricing myself out or getting shortchanged.

And why do they want job experience in chronological instead of reverse chrono. order that more commonly used? Does it really matter?

Any advice from experienced souls used to the civil service ways is appreciated!

I am definitely not a high flier. How can I be one in the first place??? There are so many high-caliber and academically strong civil and public servants.

with only 4 year exp and you hit 4.5k with just MERIT degree and always 'C' performer?? This is really good man!!!!

2010= +14%
2011= +9%
2012= +17%
2013= +9.7%

you say 2012 got wage adjustment, so be it!!+17%

I also assume after your 1st year you got promoted/confirmed, so it is +14%

But I dun under why in 2011 n 2013, even you say you are a "C" performer, and still get 9% increment??!?!?!? Is it abit too high for increment?!?

then how about if you get "B" or "A", is it you will get 12% and 15% increment respectively?!?!

so do you mean join statboard is so good, very good increment?!?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

i got friend in ST, also Merit degree/with NS, always "C" average performer
2009-fresh grad
2009-2800
2010-31xx(after wage adj + annual increment)
2011-34xx(after wage adj + annual increment)
2012-36xx(promotion + annual increment)
2013=approx 3800(annual increment)

see the difference?? same degree same always C performer.....pay is 700 apart?!?!??

Big canon fairy aside, CS in general is better than ST in term of cash pay-out, but ST got give stock option. Even more for better performers. I suspect the big canon is a fake Civil Servant, as I understand MI for MX is on fixed quantum of 200+ for C grader.
