It is normal. You got lucky with the jump.

But because this is salary.sg, please be prepared some trolls will drop by to say you are slow for not having 20k/month starting pay.

Seems to be the progression of an average performer (not bad at all, given it's quite competitive in ministries). Have you been usually getting a C grade?

You were in a Ministry all these while? Yearly MI seems to be on the lower side but it may be because of the cut in MI in recent years.

Pay increased about 5% yoy. Not terrible I guess but could do better in Pte sector

looks on track to mx11a at around 34 35 year old.. in fact its faster than most farmer..

Farming through the years; how does it look annualised salary per month:

In Finance/Accounting - Retail/Hospitality sector

ORD 2006, slack for 2 years, Graduated private degree 2010, slack for another 2 years.

2012-$2250 - Joined as a junior
2013-$2475
2014-$2815 - Salary bump to be >$2,500 so company does not need to pay OT.
2015-$3038
2016-$3263 - Promotion
2017-$3600 - Pay adjustment
2018-$5063 - Joined competitor
2019-$6188
2020-$8667 - Joined competitor
2021-$10667 - Joined competitor
