The attrition rate in SIA is high. Many capable AOs have left SIA due to stagnant salaries, long notice period, thus leaving behind the remaining. Its quite messy

Suggest joining other places including banking, which pays more

my friend's dad who used to sell insurance is now a security guard at one of the stat boards in depot road

To keep your year end bonus, you can only tender in Jan and serve notice.

I am in a legal related field drawing low 7k+ currently, close to 2 years of working experience. Any idea how much I'll be offered if I were to apply to the civil service for non-law positions such as policy making? Gracias!!

Interesting situation. I would be very impressed if anybody has an informed opinion on this in terms of grade and starting pay. I have not seen many lawyers in the policy divisions.

hi all, I had the misfortune of being placed under a super-demanding boss who micromanaged and mind-fked me over every single thing that I did, even to the extent of picking over specific words/phrases in emails that I sent and going to the ridiculous extent of copy-pasting dictionary.com screenshots into my emails.

Alas, it was no surprise that I was given a "D" performance grade and told that contract will not be renewed.

The contract issue is not a worry for me, however I'm concerned that other CS agencies might blackmark me for my D performance grade in this year. Any HR experts can shed light on what exactly is going to happen to me? I recently joined this agency, and had C+'s and a B in my previous years prior to joining this agency.

Likely will have a pay cut. 2 years non-relevant experience, maybe 4k max 4.5k?
