I am contract staff sia, not even sure if they want to keep me around. The headcount keeps getting cut and changes a lot. It is like originally got 5 staff for a function now reduced to 3 because people quit

I am guessing you do not volunteer when the boss asks for someone. Eventually, you become the target of being very free and getting ****.

To find out from your boss if the company does have the intention to convert you into perm? If not, you are just ad-hoc to them. Start planning for greener pastures.

Got offered for MX 11a, but only at $8000.
Currently working in a MNC, drawing $8000 with average 2-3 months bonus.
After calculation, MINDEF offer extra 1-2 months bonus on average, which may not be very attractive.
Currently 36 years old with close to 10 years of relevant working experience. How do i nego with HR? As I had submitted all my salary documents and they said this is the best they could offer and can increase salary if i do well during probation but there is no black and white.
Anyone have experience in nego? Not in a hurry to join if the offer is not good.
