I suggest you look for other kindergarten/childcares who'll offer a higher pay. Ask for at least 1.6k, they should be willing to give if you have 5 Os and at least a B in EL. Good luck!

If you are in this for the money then you are in the wrong field. It doesn't even pay enough to survive with basic standard living. Driving taxis and giving tuition have better pay prospects.

Spends a third of the time during office hrs discussing stocks and shares. Most people in my department does that. It's an open secret that even HR knows but did not take actions because the salary is low for the job requirements.

Are you a R&D engineer in the government sector or private sector? Despite your 2+ years exp, you consider earning alot.
I got only 56k gross inclusive all bonus after 3 n half years in aviation sector, NTU 2nd lower. And my job workload is alot/stress/OT/burn holiday/burn weekend kind.

I am based in India and am in discussion with a MNC based in Singapore. I have an MBA (from India) and 7 yrs relevant experience in IT. What kind of salary should I expect in Singapore? Can I negotiate to 100K - 110K per annum?
I understand the tax is 15% and the city is quite expensive? How much will a 1 bedroom apartment cost not in the central district (but near metro) cost?

A lot of posts here seems very unlikely. Lets be realistic.. we all got friends working in different sectors.you should know if its true or not. i woulds really appreciate if people do honestly post true figures instead of misleading readers.. some of them geniunely need advices.
im 37, $5,500 / mth. left to join civil, now $4,500/mth cos no allowances and new job scope but more stable career.
