Yes. Just go for three years Graduate program for MBBS. Many papers exemption.
Not only from Singapore (many instances I knew off), also from Canada and Australia.

When you said "same age group peers", if you are referring to the whole of Singapore's same age group, regardless of educational background, then as a couple, you are considered above average in terms of income. But if you are comparing among graduates of the same age group, then you are on the low side. However, since you can still afford an EC, you are considered very successful as only 15% of Singaporeans live in condo or landed.

Your total net worth is considered above average, even among graduate couples of the same age group, but not among the top 5% (must be at least $2m combined net worth to be in the top 5% of graduate couples, i.e. both husband and wife has a net worth of at least $1m each).

Envy lot. I am just a stock analyst. Age 30 plus. Also having CFA. Earn only half as much (600k). Hope to become Fund Manager one day.

Actually we are aware of the engineering career prospect, and also we are not expecting or dreaming to make a lot based on reality.....:-). I have no complains on the engineering profession, just accepted the reality and happily moving on.

In fact I do not see anything to regret, as engineering is a stable profession. You may not be super rich but you can have a moderate standard living, which make us feel blessed. We may not even have this moderate living as well if unfortunate.

Compare apple with apple. Peers mean people with similar position.
