dsta salary
i have a friend working in dsta in aug 2007 getting 3280 starting pay.
now he claim that he getting abt 4000 after 2 years there.
he got 2nd lower honour in engineering NTU.
is it true that the annual increment for dsta is that high? abt 300-400 each year?

i think in stat boards, if you are a PR, you will be paid even lower...
when i was promoted from clerical level to management level, i was only given $100 on top of my clerical pay.... then for 6 yrs, i only have abt $1,800 increament over the years.
my boss told me that i can't be promoted this year, cos my pay was too low to be promoted.. bloody hell.. if my pay is too low, then just increase my pay la! bloody hell sick!

then mean u get 1800 increment after 6 years, which mean u getting abt 300 increment annually, which is alot.
my annual increment is 100 for 2008 and pay freeze for 2009 . very sian
my friend and i having the same degree same 2nd lower, he is getting 4k at dsta and i still getting 3k onli...wtf
i still think that working for the government is better. for the eg of my friend at dsta with basic of 3280 with 300-400 annual incremnt mean he got 10% increment annually. while i onli getting 3%
