Topic of NS is highly sensitive. Out of scope in this forum thread.
Let us not go there.
Ultimately I moved not to get rich. But for kids future. And grandkids.
Sg just getting harder and harder for younger people.
But I am doing well much better than expected.

Yeah, I wish I could migrate too for sons' future and better pay and lifestyle. But my hubby is so stuck in Sg cause his big family of 6 siblings are all here.

I am also worried for my sons' safety in NS. The freak deaths in NS scares me.

Actually I am scared if another worse SARS pandemic comes. Don't dare to work if it happens. Many drs and nurses have died in this Covid pandemic.

Prob should try to get a permanent job in health screening or admin.

Do u know if I will be censured if I choose not to work in a pandemic if I have a license to work? Does MOH make it compulsory for all Drs to work in a pandemic?

Some things money cannot buy.
But seriously migrating was very very difficult and tough at the beginning
A lot of uncertainty. Start all over again.
Sg MBBS and GDFM is not recognized abroad.

I think those CTF locum Drs deserve their S$30k per month as they are literally risking their lives to work there.

Do virtual med then.
Or just get out of med entirely
Med is not worth it. Esp in sg primary care

Yeah, fortunately there is telemedicine now.

Tried to find non medical jobs but it was tough as I have some psychiatric problems.

Rather not reveal this. How many drs in sg have migrated?
I did consider all 3 including UK.
All have pros and cons.
Which country you thinking of migrating to?
