I work 26 hours a week.
Annual is between 300 to 400k.
But mine is low because of the conditional reg. I read that others with Mmed FM can reach S$200k a year. And recent years those who locumed can reach S$300k or more .

I incorporate. 14% corporate taxes.
Pay myself dividends which is then taxed at personal rates.
Taxes definitely higher.
I dont work as hard.
Also housing is much cheaper than sg.
Same for cars.
PPP is 5 times that of SG.
Every year I could buy a condo apartment if I wanted
But prop market is very different
Different lifestyle here.

Yeah in Sg, I make my money through investing in propertyand not so much from my salary. Made as a couple S$1.5 mil from propertyalready. Freehold landed esp if bought at a right time and price is very lucrative.

Sg is investment haven.
No capital gains tax!
If I invest the retained earnings in my corporation,
Interest is taxed at 46% Dividends 38% capital gains 23%
If i pay myself everything as personal income the income
Above 200k is taxed at 46%!
I pay myself about 100k a year. Tax is around 25%.
But cost of living low enough to be very comfortable with 60k a year
In sg ia easier to become rich in my opinion.
But life is hard and will get harder faster for the kids.

True. That is why I am thinking of decoupling to buy another condo. Can live in one and rent one out for passive income. In future, leave one each to my 2 sons as they will not be able to afford private property.

But hubby disagrees as he dislikes condo. Wants a landed

May I know what is the standard pay package for an anchor GP in private in a small chain now? Is there aws, bonus and profit sharing? How many days annual leave usually? Standard 14 days MC and 60 days HL right?

Have an interview coming up and would like to know the market rate to better negotiate.

No one can confirm with u bonus and profit sharing one la
Remember , Ur profit sharing means lesser money for the chain owner.
Give u more money, boss this year cannot upgrade BMW liao.
Unless u make a lot of money for him.

MC on paper 14 days.HL 60 days?
Lol
U try to take lo.
Every day u MC, the boss has to scramble to find locum or he come work himself
I think u take more than 5 or 6 days ,
All your profit sharing go to pay for locum liao.
Do a few years no job liao.

Market rate?
See Ur skillset lo.
I got offered 17.5k for 44 hours per week with 2 nights and a weekend
It's a super busy clinic, they owner and second doctor, second doctor left to start his own hence opening come up. They see combined at least 150 pat a day and up to 200 during busy times.
Back of envelope cal show I earn 10 bucks per patient I see.

I say no thank you.
Dun want go home a broken soul everyday.

I tell u la. Best is those screening job
10 to 15 pat a day 13k a month.

I thought SMC doesn't allow Drs to do health screening fulltime? Am confused as I still see some Drs doing it FT. How do they get around SMC?
