got many type of "dr". You talking about the specialist surgeons or the GP or the Infectious Disease or the public health dr or the Minister (Dr). What kind of Dr?

What do you think the answer is to this question?
Obviously ministry won’t be publishing this data so the only people who will know are the DIOs PDs and MOH.
Also, if you are the PD what will you tell someone who is leaving?
Obviously find out why he wants to leave, and if there’s no point keeping him then let him go.

Agreed, pilots are going to be an obsolete profession, be it military or commercial. With countries opening up their borders slowly, I would say even more so military as more governments turn to artificial intelligence and software for air dominance. All pilots will be affected for the next few decades either way. Honestly, I don't see why pilots should earn more than bus captains. In fact, bus captains serve a more critical role in our society.

Had a number of encounters with pilots before and more often than not, a bunch of arrogant narcissists who seem to take pride in their trysts abroad. Most have their noses in the sky even though they haven't done much to earn respect from everyone else. Coming into this forum to try to flaunt their own salaries... couldn't be more expected from a pilot.

You dont get it. How much is the airplane? Pilot controls that. Plus also has the lives if hundreds in their hands for commercial airliner.

If as a pilot i screw up i kill hundreds and destroy a multimillion dollar airplane. Everytime i go up i basically hold all these hostage.

For dr even a surgeon at most kills ONE patient per screw up. How much can one patient sue the dr for? Nothing compared to what I hold in my hands.

Stupid doctors.

Wow such salty comments against pilots just cos you guys are stuck in the healthcare industry (assuming you're even a doctor). Say all you want but we still have got the last laugh as pilots. Higher pay, better life, less debt, more holidays overseas and overall a more desirable profession. Even if you doctors earn more, you have no time to spend and enjoy the beauties of life like we do. Most of us are less academic-inclined and look how that turned out? Better quality of life just cos we know how to play the system, regardless of military or commercial pilot. So what if you have better grades when you're a kid? Continue living that life as a doctor and coming here to whine about it.
