Yeah, requires a bit of patience and some willingness to do a rural internship (HO) year, or at an accredited private hospital. The bottleneck is at internship (HO). It is much easier to get jobs from PGY2 onwards. Residency or specialist training however will likely require an Aussie PR.

Confusing. are u are interested in intensive care? if u are the IM-AIM/Respi route-ICU is possible.
But if u are interested in anes, then u have to wait about 2-3 years before starting training
