The range is literally from like 120k a year to millions.
It depends on so many things - the industry, size of company, his rank, at which point he left private practice

Is it even possible to serve your TC before or concurrently with studying for Part B? Say if you take an LOA and graduate in December..

No. It's expressly disallowed - can just check the SILE page.
However, you are allowed to do Part A and RLT together, so I always wondered why UK grads dont rush to get it done and then do their TC before Part B - this lets them get called half a year early.
