Not really. Probably best bet is still big4 though seems like they still hire from other internationals, so might be 2 jumps away.

ultimately the employment agreement is signed between you and the employer. even if you take it to the last stage with the offer letter in hand, you are still entitled to walk away.

the recruiter can rush you all he/she wants but it is neither his/her call to hire you, nor inform the hirer that you don't want to proceed.

just tell the recruiter whatever it takes to get the written offer in hand, before deciding. as a poster above suggests, you can phrase it non-committally if you are afraid of being blacklisted by the recruiter.

returning to salaries, has any b4 firm announced a hike (following a&g 7.5 and baker 8) as well?

Few weeks back Rodyk and R&T said they monitoring developments. How long they want to monitor until? 2024 ah. like MMTF

And why was TSMP so proud of their 7k? This is nothing spectacular. If anything they should be ashamed that they offered this before but slashed pay downwards.

WongPartnership has a decent practice - just do a google search for the practice.
