hi, could I ask whether class of honors matter after your first job for law? will law firms continuing looking at class of honors when you try to job hop?

I'm going to be realistic here, although I know you're hoping for answers like "no they don't" or "it's not important after job 1".
It's the same as any industry. Technically no, they only care about if for the first NQ-2PQE years.
Issue is that if you're looking to jump into the big (i.e. generally better) firms, the only point of comparison is your grades (and maybe extracurricular), although they do care about where you worked and your performance at work if you're not an NQ.
But it's kind of circular, if you don't get good grades, you can't get your foot in the door to midsize or big firms, and then you end up getting shut out of bigger firms entirely. Some lucky few still manage to make (several) jumps into the bigger firms, but those are few are far between.

Hi, currently a fourth year law student in Indonesia here.
I was wondering if it'd be worth it if I took JD from either SMU/ NUS. If yes, when should I apply? After 1-2 years of experience or just apply directly after graduation?
Context: 3.9/4.0 GPA, 3 months internship experience at a mid-tier lawfirm, has decent chance of entering foreign law firms like Baker Mckenzie/Allen & Overy.
Thanks!
