Cc them. One of you students, just make the allegation. We want an investigation done. The people deserve an investigation. We should not stand by and let the public good and trust be destroyed. I'm sure the people deserve to know.
The profession will stand behind you. Dishonesty is a fatal defect. You can be a total asshole or toxic, but not untrustworthy in handling your client and GRC funds.
Please cc Minlaw and MOE. These matters fall under their purview.

Email this thread. Ask for an investigation. We don't know, we weren't there. But it is a cause for concern.

I have asked around and nobody is willing. The potential backlash is just not worth it.

Okay, someone has to make the call, on grounds of anonymity. No one will know it is you.

Yes please. Or shift this drama to overheard so that the discussion in this thread can stay on topic.

Is this the freaking attitude mid tier and big law firms adopt as well. So wrt the “useful” RLT you never had to doublecheck their work? Can’t be true right. Anyone who’s fresh out of any Uni, (even Oxbridge) and who produces some work will have to have it run through by their supervisor. So in other words the person is lazy to train the trainee - how can you blame the trainee for your half ass supervision.
Also If trainees are so useless then why the hell is the system not scrapping training and just immediately employing the Law grad (ofC after passing part a /b). this would Elicit more responsible behaviour From both sides + Efficient allocation of resource/energy. So can’t be true that trainees represent a “cost” to your lazy ass. If your so particular about quality you can screen at interviews. The rest depends on the quality of your supervision. So stop blaming trainees.
