We live in a different era from the past. Make no mistake about that.
U think sg lawyers are that good? Have u worked with lawyers from China or India?
Up to you then. Good luck

Yeah, and they are worse than the UK degree mills grads. Don't think they will be so stupid as to open the floodgates to them.

Don’t understand how some ppl on this forum are Lawyers.

Providing stupid advice to juniors. And ramming juniors down when they have personal issues.

Firstly, remember that -
(1) PQE starts from the time you are called to one jurisdiction. The first jurisdiction that you qualify in - your pqe runs from there on.
(2) you may be an academic, a lecturer, a legal counsel, an arbitrator, a corporate lawyer, etc.
PQE continues to run

Secondly, stop putting juniors down.
Breakup is part and parcel of life.

Pqe means post qualification experience in a job that requires you to be a qualified lawyer.

A legal exec is not job that requires you to be a qualified lawyer.

Being qualified but not working in a job that requires you to be a qualified lawyer means you are not clocking pqe.

Have I made it simple enough for you?

Are you stupid or just trolling?

Please la. Stop giving wrong advice.
Legal executive performs the job of a legal associate.
Reason for the lesser title is cos it’s cheaper for the firm.
Then some firms call their associates legal assistant?
Means what? Secretary? Please...

Means u are a loser la. Cannot qualify as associate. Big kukubird or not, still a loser. The road to equity is shut. This is a serious black mark on your cv.
