I didn’t. As a trainee in a certain organisation, you have to work all nighters and take a lot of the scolding.
It’s difficult to put in enough time for the relationship.
If you already said after training you will quit and take on a lesser job, I think that’s a fair assurance to the girl.
Look at anwar ibrahim. Wife stayed with him. Full loyalty despite his troubles.

Top lawyer here. Used to think everyone is a loser and I’m the best.
But something happened which I shall not share.
Cut me back to shape.
Hope the same doesn’t happen to you

For the thousandth time no. Staying as legal exec is career suicide. Why would u want to stay and compete with TP law diploma holders (no offence to them). Ur putting your career progression in an untenable position.
U can't clock pqe as a legal exec. Hint: 'pq' stands for 'post qualification'. The 2 words are there for a reason. Sure u can move inhouse...as a legal exec not legal counsel.
The only scenario where this is remotely tenable is if you're offered a paralegal position in an international or MC firm which functions as sort of an extended probation period.

hey guys you guys
how true is it that my career as a lawyer is determined by my kukubird size
my ex gf at big 4 firm left me for a more well-endowed paralegal, but he barely makes 10% of what i bring home every month
my boss said i will have to show it to her at the next performance appraisal, legitimately worried now
what can i expect? if i have to leave for another firm, what should i be looking out for? what is the average size among the big 4? do partners have to take ****** to get through an average work day?

Absolutely untrue.
The loser paralegal/legal exec is a good example of how having a big bird does not lead to one being kept on as an associate.

This is a silly advice. Pls go read what our Chief Justice said in his speech.
He said law graduates should be open to paralegal route.
We live in a different era from the past. Make no mistake about that.
U think sg lawyers are that good? Have u worked with lawyers from China or India?
