I have tried to do some research on this but didn’t manage to find anything useful. Would appreciate some advice here! Thanks.

The procedure is the same for mass call applicants, I think the key is when you start your TC or if you fail Part A / Part B... or if you do your TC before you complete Part B...

On a sombre note, this year's Mass Call is via Zoom. So the trainees will miss out on photo opportunities and celebrations with their batch mates.

If you choose to do the PTC before Part B, when would the earliest you can be called (assuming that you pass the Part B at first attempt in December)?

April. Results release late feb, and there needs to be 21 days minimum between filing OS and the call date.

Why are you guys so xenophobic? Gahmen wants to import more foreign talent into our little red dot for our own good. Last I checked CECA doesn't even affect lawyers.

Generally, the earliest will be April if you file your OS at the start of next year. Your results will be released around late Feb-early Mar. And you still need to apply for SILE certificate to be annexed in your affidavit after receiving notification that you passed. By then, you will have missed the March Call date. So April is the earliest possible.

I think one aspect of the procedure requires for there to be at least 21 days before the date of hearing. Results for Part B came out on 25th Feb 2020. March might be possible if the monthly call date for March that year is later in the month.

SILE approves in two days if there are no glitches.
