Reward for being good is more work. Any advice on handling this? I’ve been told to sit on work and not give them until a suitable time but it’s always urgent with a unmovable deadline. Meanwhile colleagues are sitting on their stuff for weeks and not being chased by boss.

2 PQE at a boutique firm with a focus on regulatory and transaction work. Looking to lateral into a B4 practice. How much should I be looking at and what's the bonus like last year?

Do you all remember the new imposed laws only care the relevant law.

Is it just me being hard to work with.

I seem to have no issues working with the male partners. But when it comes to the female partners I keep getting issues.

Even female secretaries doesn't want to work for female lawyers / partners.

Any news of tech/banking focused lawyers getting laid off due to the ongoing banking crisis? How will this affect law firms’ businesses?
